Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works City Grants Fund in the amount of $100,000 for grant funds awarded in 2014.
Body
WHEREAS, RES 14-2015, authorized the City of Saint Paul to accept funds from Ramsey County Public Entities Innovation (PEI) Grant in the amount of $100,000 for the hire of a consultant to assist in the development of a request for proposals (RFP) for recycling and source separated organics collection and/or processing services and to help with public outreach on possible service changes, and
WHEREAS, these grant funds were awarded in 2014, but due to the grant agreement not being fully executed until January of 2015, funding had not been set up, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $100,000 in the City Grants Fund; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $100,000 is available for appropriation in the City Grants Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
