Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a $300 directed grant from the Rosenberg Fund For Children to be used as a scholarship for Recreation Services for their grantee, Malcolm Lurie.

WHEREAS, the Rosenberg Fund for Children notified the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Department that a grant in the amount of $300.00 had been awarded to the Department for the benefit of Malcolm Lurie; and
WHEREAS, the grant is effective from April 2011 through October 2011 for use by Malcolm Lurie for costs of recreational and sports programs; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of the grant will permit improved access to recreational programming for the named individual; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Director is hereby authorized to sign that attached grant agreement to accept and account for funds to be used by Malcolm Lurie for recreational and sports programs through the City of Saint Paul, and thanks the Rosenberg Fund for Children for the award.
