WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 16-491 accepted the Report of Completion of Assessment for constructing an above standard lantern style lighting system on Cedar Avenue from 4^th Street to 5^th Street.

WHEREAS, the annual operation and maintenance cost of the above-standard lighting shall be included in the St. Peter/Wabasha Lighting District and charges will be collected annual with the annual Right-of-Way Maintenance Assessment; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on April 20, 2016 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the construction work; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Ch. 14 of the City Charter, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the assessment be made payable in twenty (20) equal installments.
