Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Cat 1 opened 5/14/24 due to dwelling fire. House has been razed. Per Clint Zane on 5/22/25: in addition to elec permit, owner needs to remove the driveway and curb cut and restore the curb and landscaping. I have attached the associated permit documentation. You or your contractor will need to pull public works permits to perform this work. Also, DSI staff held off VB fee until June 30, 2025 to get demo permit closed. NOTE: Owner paid the 2024-2025 VB fee even though waiver was put in place.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Otto Hiller to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 1331 STILLWATER AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal and is released from the Vacant Building Program; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
