Authorizing the appropriate personnel to enter into an agreement with The State of Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for the construction of medians and parking bays on Snelling Avenue from Randolph Avenue to Ford Parkway.

WHEREAS, MnDOT State Project No. 6215-109 (T.H. 51=125) provides for construction of medians and parking bays on Snelling Avenue (T.H-51=125) from Randolph Avenue to Ford Parkway; and
WHEREAS, Council Resolution 16-947 authorizing the City to act as a sponsoring unit for the project identified as “Snelling Avenue Medians - Randolph Avenue to Highland Parkway”, to be constructed during the period July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 was passed on June 8, 2016; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul will enter into a cost share agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for the construction of the Snelling Avenue Medians -Randolph Avenue to Highland Parkway; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any attachments to the Agreement.
