WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Lise Day to a Correction Notice - Complaint Inspection at 1620 WEST SEVENTH STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council require an inter-connected smoke detector system by January 16, 2018, and if there is refer the matter to legislative hearing on May 1, 2018 to review a code analysis on the conversion of the building's use, anticipating there may be an extension necessary to execute the building changes required in the code analysis grant an extension of 180 days to come into compliance with orders, as an inter-connected smoke detector system has been installed, a code analysis completed and an application for permit made to make the necessary corrections; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
