Amending Council Files No. RLH AR 21-1 to reduce the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during February 18 to August 13, 2020 at 171 WYOMING STREET. (File No. VB2104, Assessment No. 218803)

 

Body

WHEREAS on February 24, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 21-1 to ratify the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during February 18 to August 13, 2020. (File No. VB2104, Assessment No. 218803; and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 171 Wyoming Street, being described as: Belvidere Park Subdivision of Lot 3 of Bidwell’s Addition to West Saint Paul, Minnesota Lot 9 Blk 2, with the property identification number 08-28-22-34-0115 was assessed an amount of $2284; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends reducing the assessment from $2284 to $1200.50 as the property was in the Vacant Building Program for 6 of 12 months in the annual fee; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the assessment of $2284, plus any accrued interests, be reduced to $1200.50.  Council File No. RLH AR 21-1 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
