Appeal of Renewal by Anderson on behalf of Connie and Carl Zable to a Building Permit Denial for Non-Compliant Egress Windows at 2244 Dellridge Avenue. (Ward 7)
Purpose of Appeal
We are appealing a sliding replacement window that will not comply with egress policy. Current window will be short in openable width by 4 3/8". We are changing the original style to allow for greater openable height. Due to the width of this opening we are unable to to put in a single casement. The job is small and by altering the opening to be compliant it would add over $1,000 to the job cost. Stucco siding also makes alteration hard w/o finding a separate contractor. Please approve.
