Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license held by Gashaw Mulugeta Debela.

WHEREAS, the Taxicab Driver license held by Gashaw Mulugeta Debela (License ID# 20140000930) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated July 6, 2017, stating that during a routine check of the licensee’s criminal history for license renewal, it was discovered he was convicted in Washington County of Misdemeanor Traffic Careless Driving in violation of Minn. Stat. § 169.13.2; and
WHEREAS, the licensee was placed on probation for a period of one (1) year which is scheduled to expire April 19, 2018; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.15 (e)(4)(a)(3) the licensing office recommended license revocation; and
WHEREAS, the applicant did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to request either a public or administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to request either a public or administrative hearing by July 17, 2017, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Driver license held by Gashaw Mulugeta Debela (License ID# 20140000930) for the City of Saint Paul is hereby revoked.
