Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): At the point of getting the invoice from the City of St. Paul I did not realize I had to then pay to St. Paul (did not really read it, just recognized it was for late garbage payment), I made an account with Republic Services and paid off the amount with them on 2/16/19, before the due date on the final notice .
Staff Comments: If the property owner made a payment to the garbage hauler after January 5th, 2019, that payment was applied as a credit on their account. The property owner is still responsible for paying the City any outstanding delinquent balance from Quarter 4 2018.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Trash Hauling during Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during October to December 2018. (File No. CG1901A3, Assessment No. 190056) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
