WHEREAS, Kohl's Eagan Store #79 has offered to donate stuffed animals valued at $260.00 and books valued at $2,020.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department would like to accept this donation of stuffed animals and books from Kohl's Eagan Store #79, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide the stuffed animals and books to comfort the children who ride in ambulances, and
NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul, accept this donation of $2,280.00 worth of stuffed animals and books from the Kohl's Eagan Store #79 and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
