WHEREAS, Kris Taylor has dedicated over 21 years to advancing corporate responsibility, inclusive leadership, and community development, most notably through her impactful career at Ecolab; and
WHEREAS, as Director of Community Relations and Vice President of the Ecolab Foundation and later Vice President of Global Community Impact and President of the Ecolab Foundation, Ms. Taylor has championed innovative approaches to corporate citizenship, philanthropy, and equity, positively affecting countless lives across Saint Paul and beyond; and
WHEREAS, Kris Taylor has played an instrumental role in guiding Ecolab’s philanthropic investments in education, youth empowerment, and economic opportunity, while forging strong partnerships that reflect her deep commitment to the vitality of our community; and
WHEREAS, Kris has mentored numerous emerging leaders across both public and private sectors, generously sharing her insight, experience, and values to help shape the next generation of changemakers in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, Kris Taylor’s longstanding service includes her support of Serving Our Troops, a beloved Saint Paul initiative that honors military families and fosters civic pride, demonstrating her enduring dedication to those who serve our nation; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of her exemplary leadership, Kris was honored with the prestigious Herbie Award from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce-celebrating individuals who embody the spirit of community, collaboration, and generosity; and
WHEREAS, Kris continues to serve as a model of principled leadership and civic engagement, and July 2nd provides an opportunity to honor her extraordinary contributions and enduring legacy in our city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we recognize and honor July 2, 2025, as Kris Taylor Day in the City of Saint Paul and call upon all residents to recognize and celebrate Kris Taylor’s outstanding impact as a leader...
