Title

Amending the budget in the Fire Department to establish the spending and financing plans for a reimbursement from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education/Minnesota Department of Public Safety - Homeland Security and Emergency Management in the amount of $2,411.11 for training for firefighters.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Fire Department will be reimbursed by the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) for the costs associated with firefighters receiving Hazard Materials Shale Oil training on November 9, 10, and 13, 2015, and

 

WHEREAS, the total cost of the training is $2,411.11, and

 

WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the reimbursement, and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $2,411.11 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget, and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additions be made to the 2015 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council approves the changes to the 2015 budget.
