Title

Transferring stock ownership in licenses held by Liquor Village, Inc., d/b/a Liquor Village at 2289 Ford Parkway.

Body

WHEREAS, Liquor Village, Inc. d/b/a Liquor Village, located at 2289 Ford Parkway in the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota 55116, holds retail food establishment - grocery, tobacco/cigarette, and liquor-off sale licenses at that location; and

WHEREAS, Leo A. and Georgia C. Scheu, the sole owners of shares of stock in Liquor Village, Inc. wish to transfer all stock in Liquor Village, Inc. to a joint revocable trust; and

WHEREAS, that trust is the Leo A. Scheu and Georgia C. Scheu Living Trust Agreement, dated August 1, 2011, As Amended; and

WHEREAS, §409.11(c) (1) of the Saint Paul Legislative Code requires that the transfer of stock within any corporation must have the consent of City Council;  now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that consent is hereby granted for the transfer of stock in the corporate licenses issued to Liquor Village, Inc. d/b/a Liquor Village, 2289 Ford Parkway in the City of Saint Paul.
