Ratifying the assessment for Rubbish and Garbage Clean Up services during May 24 to June 10, 2024. (File No. J2503R, Assessment No. 258502)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 24-1219 accepted the Report of Completion for Rubbish and Garbage Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of May 24 to June 10, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on January 29, 2025 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; and
WHEREAS, the assessment amount for each property will be payable in a term of 1 year, with the property taxes in 2026; unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments:
RLH TA 24-396: 1333 Edmund Avenue;
RLH TA 25-75: 815 Holton Street;
RLH TA 24-473: 2023 Magnolia Avenue East;
RLH TA 24-413: 460 Prior Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the assessment will bear an interest rate of 5.65 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this resolution; and
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statues and Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified or amended.
