Amending the spending plan in the Fire Department Public Safety Aid projects to more accurately account for the expenditures.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department received Public Safety Aid funding to support the purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment and the EMS supervisor positions; and
WHEREAS, the spending plans in both of these projects needs to be reallocated to more accurately account for the expenditures; and
WHEREAS, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter and based on the request of the interim Fire Chief to amend the 2026 Fund 211 Public Safety Aid budget for the reallocation of funds within the existing budgets; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budgets in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis.
