Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of a sunblock tower and dispenser refills to be used at Highland Park Aquatic Center, and thanking HealthPartners for its generous gift.
Body
WHEREAS, HealthPartners is opening a new clinic in Highland Park and as part of the promotion of the new site is giving open swim passes to the Highland Park Aquatic Center to local families; and
WHEREAS, HealthPartners would like to provide a "sunblock tower", a pole with sunblock dispensers with the HealthPartners name at the top, to the Highland Park Aquatic Center at no cost; and
WHEREAS, HealthPartners would provide the refill sunblock which would allow sunblock to be made available to pool users at no cost; and
WHEREAS, the sunblock tower provides a public benefit by making sunblock readily available to pool users; now,
 
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the donation of the sunblock tower to be used at Highland Park Aquatic Center and refills of the dispenser valued at $2500 through the summer swimming season and thanks HealthPartners for its generous gift.
