Title

Approving polling location changes for the August 11, 2026 primary and the November 3, 2026 general elections.

Body

WHEREAS, the polling locations for voters in St. Paul Precincts 1-3 and 1-4 have changed names and the polling locations for voters in St. Paul Precincts 3-2, 6-4 and 7-3 are not available for use as polling locations, and

WHEREAS Ramsey County Elections staff conducted site visits to locate new polling locations, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.16, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the following changes for the 2026 elections.

 

Precinct 1-3

Current Location:  St. Stephanus, 739 Lafond Avenue (name change only)

New Location: Church of the Redeemer, 739 Lafond Avenue (name change only)

 

Precinct 1-4

Current Location:  St. Stephanus, 739 Lafond Avenue (name change only)

New Location: Church of the Redeemer, 739 Lafond Avenue (name change only)

 

Precinct 3-2

Current Location:  Nativity Church - Steiner Hall, 1938 Stanford Avenue

New Location: Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1935 St. Clair Avenue

(Moving due to construction at Nativity only for the Primary and General in 2026)

 

Precinct 6-4

Current Location:  Hayden Heights Library, 1456 White Bear Avenue

New Location:  Divinity Lutheran Church, 1655 Cottage Avenue E

(Moving due to construction at Hayden Heights Library only for the Primary and General in 2026)

 

Precinct 7-3

Current Location:  Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 674 Johnson Parkway

New Location:  Dayton’s Bluff Rec Center, 800 Conway Street

 (This is a permanent move)

 

AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, should further changes occur in the polling locations between the date of this resolution and November 3, 2026, the Ramsey County Election Office is hereby authorized to find appropriate locations in which to hold the election.  A postal notification will be sent to all registered voters affected by the changes.
