Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $25,140.87 for a reimbursement received from Regions EMS to support the whole blood program in the department.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department received a reimbursement from Regions EMS to support starting up whole blood program in the Department; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department will use the $25,140.87 to purchase equipment to support the whole blood program; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the reimbursement received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $25,140.87 in excess of those estimated in the 2026 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the addition as specified in the attachment "Regions EMS $25,140.87 Reimbursement" be made in the 2026 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council accepts the reimbursement of $25,140.87 and approves the changes to the 2026 budget.
