Purpose of Appeal:
I, the tenant Terry Fahey, am not appealing the City of St. Paul's repair orders at 1771 Reaney Ave East and/or the negligence of the landlord Gary Blair's obligation to do the repairs.
I am appealing for more time to vacate. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter that I have more than half the time and also co-parent with her mother. I need more time to find safe adequate housing near her daycare and mother.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Terrance F. Fahey, Tenant, to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint (which includes condemnation of Unit 3) at 1771 REANEY AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant to August 4, 2025 to vacate (or achieve compliance); Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
