The owner also plans to obtain a new CUP as a general roominghouse without a sorority restriction and respectfully seeks additional time to do so.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Ted Wagor, Attorney from Felhaber Larson, on behalf of 1596 Hewitt Avenue LLC, to a Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate at 1596 Hewitt Avenue, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to July 1, 2024 for compliance by 1) change in use established by permit application and approval with code analysis; or 2) change in the CUP or new CUP allowing continuing use as a rooming house; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
