Approving the purchase by Saint Paul VISTA Program staff of food and beverages for meetings which occur over mealtimes, in an amount not to exceed $1,000.
Body
WHEREAS, Mayor's Office and Saint Paul VISTA Program staff have occasion to attend meetings and sponsor trainings over mealtimes; and
WHEREAS, providing food and beverages during the meetings enables them to take place efficiently and without disrupting work; and
WHEREAS, funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service for the Saint Paul VISTA Program permits the use of the money for such a purpose; and
WHEREAS, these meetings will occur throughout the 2013-2014 VISTA program year; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Saint Paul VISTA Program staff are authorized to purchase food and beverages for meetings which occur over mealtimes, in an amount not to exceed $1,000.
