Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for the Grand/Snelling Intersection Improvement Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the City has a project to construct improvements at the Grand Avenue and Snelling Avenue Intersection; and
WHEREAS, the City requests that MnDOT participate in the cost of the work performed upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway 51/Snelling Avenue at Grand Avenue and MnDOT agrees to participate in the costs as defined in the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City’s operation and maintenance responsibilities for these improvements are defined in the agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1057071 with the State of Minnesota, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and, be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
