Authorizing the City to enter into a cooperative agreement with Ramsey County for the replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection of St. Paul Avenue and Edgcumbe Road.
Body
WHEREAS, the City plans to reconstruct the traffic signal at the intersection of St. Paul Avenue and Edgcumbe Road as part of the 2023 Edgcumbe Road from St. Paul Avenue to Fairview Avenue Project; and
WHEREAS, the cost participation, ownership and maintenance responsibilities of Ramsey County and the City of Saint Paul for project elements are defined in the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the agreement contains a mutual indemnification clause, which the Council finds reasonable and appropriate; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Ramsey County Agreement PUBW2022-14, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
