WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Nancy Day to a Condemnation/Order to Vacate and Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 457 TOWER STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal as, the Department of Safety and Inspections has lifted its condemnation follwoing an extended appeal process allowing for the clean-up and inspection of the property which occurred January 24, 2017, noting this action also releases the property from the Vacant Building Program and that remaining non-life-safety issues will continue forward as standard correction orders to be issued by the department; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
