Ratifying the assessment for the City’s cost of providing Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2025. (File No.CG2503A1, Assessment No.250116)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 25-837 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 13, 2025 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; and
WHEREAS, the assessment amount for each property will be payable in a term of 1 year, with the property taxes in 2026; unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments:
RLH TA 25-273: 1076 Cumberland Street;
RLH TA 25-309: 2261 Sargent Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the assessment will include an administrative fee of $2.50 per parcel; and
RESOLVED, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 443.29 and Admin. Code § 60.03, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified.
