Pertaining to a Lease Agreement with the Public Housing Agency of the City of Saint Paul to install AMI equipment at 825 Seal Street.

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (the “Board”) has instituted a Leak Audit Program using an integrated system of smart meters, communications networks, and data management that enables two-way communication between SPRWS and its customers known as Advanced Metering Infrastructure (“AMI”); and
WHEREAS, the Public Housing Agency of the City of Saint Paul (“PHA”) owns and operates the Iowa Hi-Rise site at 825 Seal Street in the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Board presently desires to place certain AMI equipment on the rooftop at this location and the PHA agrees to permit the Board to install such equipment; and
WHEREAS, PHA staff has drafted a site lease agreement between the parties providing the terms and conditions required for installation of such equipment on its property; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Site Lease Agreement between the Public Housing Agency of the City of Saint Paul and the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul to lease space on the rooftop of the Iowa Hi-Rise at 825 Seal Street in the City of Saint Paul for the installation of AMI equipment is hereby approved and the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Site Lease Agreement following approval by the assistant city attorney.
