Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with BNSF Railway Company for the Kellogg/Third Street Bridge Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is planning to reconstruct the Kellogg/Third Street Bridge over the BNSF railroad tracks; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested that BNSF perform certain engineering services with respect to its railroad facilities located at or near the project site; and
WHEREAS, BNSF is agreeable to performing the work, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to reimburse BNSF for the costs incurred in performing the work estimated to be $41,107.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for on behalf of the City to enter into this agreement with the BNSF Railway Company, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
