Ratifying the assessment for Securing and/or Emergency Boarding fees billed during March 2026 on Private Property. (File No. J2611B, Assessment No. 268116)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 26-813 accepted the Report of Completion for Securing and Emergency Boarding Fees billed during the time period of March 2026; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 19, 2026, to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; and
WHEREAS, the assessment amount for each property will be payable in a term of 1 year, with the property taxes in 2027; unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments:
RLH TA 26-155: 565 Aldine Street;
RLH TA 26-145: 2012 Como Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the assessment will bear an interest rate of 5.95 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this resolution; and
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statues and Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified.
