Accepting a scholarship for conference registration, not to exceed $1,250, from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, for city staff Christine Boulware to attend the Historic Real Estate Finance Training Program in Chicago, IL from May 23 through May 27, 2016.

WHEREAS, city staff, Christine Boulware, will attend the Historic Real Estate Finance Training Program, to be held in Chicago, Illinois from May 23-27, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the National Trust for Historic Preservation is willing to provide a scholarship to the City for the conference registration cost for city staff, anticipated not to exceed $1,250; now
THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the City Council authorizes the Department of Planning and Economic Development to apply for, accept and enter into agreement with the National Trust for Historic Preservation for the cost of registration for the Historic Real Estate Finance Training Program; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the City Council determines this to have public purpose and the Council extends its thanks and appreciation to the National Trust for Historic Preservation for its generous assistance for continuing education.
