Amending the 2019 financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Operating and Capital Budgets by reallocating $1,800,000.

WHEREAS, the 2019 budget includes $1,300,000 for citywide pedestrian improvements to be completed in coordination with the Downtown and Citywide Mill and Overlay Program; and

 

WHEREAS, the $1,300,000 was added to the street maintenance fund and needs to be transferred to the 2019 Sidewalk Reconstruction Program; and

 

WHEREAS, the 2019 budget includes $500,000 for the creation of a Bikeway Improvements Program; and

 

WHEREAS, the $500,000 was added to the general fund and needs to be transferred to the 2019 Bikeway Improvements Program; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation of funds of $1,800,000.

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $1,800,000 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Operating and Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the attached financial analysis.
