Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during March 12 to September 21, 2018. (File No. VB1905, Assessment No. 198804)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 18-1982 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during the time period of March 12 to September 21,2018; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on February 20, 2019 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter and Chapter 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 19-10: 647 Central Avenue West;
RLH TA 19-9: 915 Central Avenue West;
RLH TA 19-24: 1079 Maryland Avenue East;
RLH TA 19-13: 852 Ottawa Avenue;
RLH TA 19-12: 1475 Pacific Street;
RLH TA 19-21: 719 Preble Street;
RLH TA 19-56: 2079 Randolph Avenue;
RLH TA 19-18: 399 Thomas Avenue;
RLH TA 19-23: 631 Western Avenue North;
RLH TA 19-31: 894 Westminster Street; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
