Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $5,467 for payment received for recycling scrap metal that was no longer needed by the department.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department received a payment of $5,467 for recycling scrap metal; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to use the $5,467 to purchase equipment and supplies to support the training division; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending have not been established for the payment received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $5,467 in excess of those estimated in the 2026 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the addition as specified in the attachment "Fire Department $5,467 Payment" be made to the 2026 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council accepts the contribution $5,467 and approved the changes to the 2026 budget.
