Appeal of Othmane Salahiddine to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 1256 BUSH AVENUE.

Purpose of Appeal: The house has never been vacant. I was out of the country at the time, but according to my tenant the fire inspector did not inspect the house a second time. She asked the fire inspector to come inspect the house but he refused. All the repairs are done to the best of my knowledge as he requested.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Othmane Salahiddine to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 1256 BUSH AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal to release the property from the vacant building program and grant an extension to May 2, 2017 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated and allow permit(s) to be pulled; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
