Appeal of Jeff Sutphen to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 594 CASE AVENUE.
Purpose of Appeal
Building was occupied until the 7/1/14 inspection, and had been kept up to date and passed Section 8 inspections within the previous year. Destructive tenants were evicted, I am getting a new maintenance crew, and I would like an extension of time to prepare for new occupancy. Also, the Deficiency List contained items of general guidelines, which were not actually deficient.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Jeff Sutphen to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 594 CASE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council change to Category 1 vacant building status and waive the VB fee to September 19, 2014 to complete the Fire C of O List and if the repairs are not done, the property will be transferred back to the Vacant Building Program as a VB Category 2; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
