Authorizing the City to enter into a Master Funding Agreement with the Metropolitan Council for the METRO Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council is planning the Gold Line BRT Project in the Interstate 94 corridor from Woodbury into downtown Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, this Master Funding Agreement provides for the transfer of funds between the parties for reimbursement of project expenses; and
WHEREAS, the specific financial commitments will be made through subsequent individual Subordinate Funding Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Met Council Agreement Number 19I056, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
