WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted an evaluation for the classification of Heavy Equipment Operator-Water; and
WHEREAS, it was determined to abolish the Revolving Power Equipment Operator classification since the duties performed by the Revolving Power Equipment Operator classification will be assigned to Heavy Equipment Operator-Water classification; and
WHEREAS, the results of the evaluation instruct to change the rate of pay for Heavy Equipment Operator-Water from Grade 004 to Grade 006 in Employee Group 75 Tri-Council Operating Engineers Local 49 with the new rates below; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the Heavy Equipment Operator-Water be changed from Grade 004 to Grade 006 in Employee Group 75 Tri-Council Operating Engineers Local 49 and the classification of Revolving Power Equipment Operator be abolished. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval and the rate of pay be retroactive to April 10, 2021.
