Authorizing the City Council to expend up to $450.00 for food and refreshments at a Ward 6 Community Engagement Event in March 2026.

WHEREAS, the Ward 6 Community Engagement Event will be held in March 2026 at Hayden Heights Library; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the meeting is to provide updates on the renovation of Hayden Heights Library, with construction beginning in spring 2026; and
WHEREAS, the event will highlight the planned improvements, and community members will have the opportunity to share their perspectives on what is important to them regarding library services now and in the future; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of funds for light refreshments serves a public purpose by fostering community engagement and facilitating discussions among residents; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $450.00 for food and refreshments at the Ward 6 Community Engagement Event in March 2026
