Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of tickets to local theater and sporting events from Tickets for Kids Charities for youth and their families associated with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation to attend various events in the metro area.
Body
WHEREAS Tickets for Kids Charities wishes to donate free tickets to local events for youth and their families to attend to the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Services is prepared to administer ticket distribution to youth and their families through group field trips and ticket give aways; and,
WHEREAS, Recreation Services can use the tickets to provide access to social and recreation activities to youth and families associated with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul hereby accepts the donation of tickets to local theater and sporting events and thanks Tickets for Kids Charities for its generous donation.
