Deleting assessment for property clean-up at 1144 Sixth Street East due to improper notification of nuisance condition.

WHEREAS, on August 18, 2010, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #10-924, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Property Clean-Ups from April 30 to May 13, 2010 (File No. J1009A, Assessment No. 108899); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1144 Sixth Street East, being described as: A Gotzians Re Of Sigels Add Lot 5 Blk 13, with the property identification number 33-29-22-12-0144 was assessed an amount of $428.00 for a property clean-ups on April 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends deleting the assessment as proper notification was not provided to the owner of the April 12, 2010 Summary Abatement Order; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $428.00, plus any accrued interests, be funded by the Exempt Assessment Fund. Council File #10-924 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
