Approving the separation of the grant funds through the Ward 7 Neighborhood Star Year-Round program for Faith City Church in partnership with the G.W Carver Center for Innovation.

WHEREAS, on November 6, 2024, grant financing of up to $30,450 was approved for the project Energy Efficient Windows and Exterior Door for Faith City Church in Partnership with the G.W. Carver Center for Innovation via Resolution 24-1460; and

WHEREAS, on May 28, 2025, grant financing of up to $28,306 was approved for the project Building Updates for Faith City Church in Partnership with the G.W. Carver Cultural Center for Innovation via Resolution 25-846; and

WHEREAS, the Council Member wishes to designate that $9,650.00 of the $28,306 approved funding from May 28, 2025 be apportioned for the project Energy Efficient Windows and Exterior Door approved via Resolution 24-1460 and that the remaining $18,953.00 be apportioned to the Building Updates project approved via Resolution 25,846; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul that $9,650.00 of the grant financing approved on May 28, 2025 will be applied to the project as described in Resolution 24-1460; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED that $18,953.00 of the grant financing approved on May 28,2025 will be applied to the project as described in Resolution 25-846; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff of the Department of Planning and Economic Development are further authorized and directed to proceed with all other actions necessary to implement this Resolution, including finalizing all documents and agreements, subject to approval by the City Attorney’s Office; and be it 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City official(s) are hereby approved and authorized to execute any and all documents in connection with this Resolution, subject to approval by the City Attorney’s Office; and be it
