Authorizing the Fire Department to pay for all costs to host teacher training workshops for the Risk Watch injury prevention curriculum.

Pursuant to the 2011 City Budget, the proper City officials are hereby authorized to remit the sum of $2,500.00 to Byerly's, D'Amicos, and Target. This will pay for all costs incurred by the Saint Paul Fire Department to conduct teacher training workshops on Risk Watch injury prevention curriculum and to maintain the program on a yearly basis. The public purpose is to reduce unintentional injuries to children by providing an evening program for teachers to cover the Risk Watch curriculum they will use in their classrooms.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
