Authorizing the Department of Public Works to apply for and accept a donation for food from the Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation for the Snow Summit on October 5, 2024.

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works would like to apply for $1,000 of a funding for the Snow Summit from the Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation through their grant process; and
WHEREAS, the City, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, would like to accept the donation for food to share with participants at the Snow Summit; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation has a long history of supporting programs and projects in Saint Paul and advancing the general welfare of Saint Paul residents by supporting educational programs; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has a plan to share the food at the Snow Summit; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the Department of Public Works to apply for and accept the donation for food from the Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation, and thanks the Saint Paul Jaycees for their generous donation.
