Authorizing the City to enter into the attached Lease Agreement with Highland Area Community Council for office space at Hillcrest Community Recreation Center.

WHEREAS, Highland Area Community Council wishes to renew their lease agreement with the City of Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation for office space at Hillcrest Community Recreation Center, 1978 Ford Parkway, Saint Paul, MN 55116; and
WHEREAS, Highland Area Community Council mission is to foster opportunities for the people that live, learn, work and play in Highland Park to engage and connect with neighbors, businesses and local government and to help build a more vibrant, welcoming, and safe neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Highland Area Community Council has leased office space at Hillcrest Community Recreation Center since 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation believes lease of office space at the community recreation center is an acceptable use of the space and does not detract from the delivery of recreation services; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into the attached Agreement.
