Approving the Mayor’s appointment of Jazmin Glaser-Kelly, Antonio Montez, Andrew Escobedo, and Gabriel Salah-Pfieffer to the Parks and Recreation Commission.

WHEREAS, Chapter 105.02 of the Saint Paul administrative code states that the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Commission consists of nine (9) at-large members and two (2) youth at-large members between the ages of 15 and 20 appointed by the Mayor; and
WHEREAS, All members shall be residents of the City of Saint Paul and be interested in and knowledgeable of the Saint Paul parks and recreation system; and
WHEREAS, Jazmin Glaser-Kelly and Antonio Montez, both residents of Ward 2, have reapplied to the Parks and Recreation Commission and have been recommended for reappointment by Parks and Recreation Department staff; and
WHEREAS, Andrew Escobedo, and Gabriel Salah-Pfieffer, also both residents of Ward 2, have applied to the Parks and Recreation Commission and have been recommended for appointment by Parks and Recreation Department staff; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Kaohly Her wishes to reappoint Jazmin Glaser-Kelly and Antonio Montez and appoint Andrew Escobedo, and Gabriel Salah-Pfieffer to three-year terms on the Parks and Recreation Commission; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment of Jazmin Glaser-Kelly, Antonio Montez, Andrew Escobedo, and Gabriel Salah-Pfieffer to three-year terms on the Parks and Recreation Commission ending May 31, 2029.
