Approving the application for a license for Dave’s Exhaust and Auto Repair d/b/a Auto Repair and Exhaust for the Auto Repair Garage license, (License ID #20250000401) for the premises located at 1111 Payne Avenue.

WHEREAS, on March 18, 2025, Dave’s Exhaust and Auto Repair d/b/a Auto Repair and Exhaust (License ID #20250000401) applied for a Auto Repair Garage license for the premises 1111 Payne Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on April 11, 2025, the Department of Safety and Inspections sent out the required License Application Notification; with a response date of April 26, 2025; and
WHEREAS, in response to the notification no objections or comments were received; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the license application approval for the Auto Repair Garage license is hereby approved and issued to Dave’s Exhaust and Auto Repair d/b/a Auto Repair and Exhaust (License ID #20250000401) for the premises located at 1111 Payne Avenue. with the following licensing conditions:
1. Only minor repair of automobiles is permitted. Minor repair includes tune-up, brake work, muffler and exhaust replacement, oil changes and other similar miscellaneous repair.
2. No more than five (5) vehicles will be stored outdoors on the lot overnight.
3. A six (6) foot tall, wood obscuring fence must be installed at the west and north property lines and ten foot landscaped area must be established adjacent to the fence. No vehicles may park in the landscaped buffer area.
4. Vehicle salvage is not permitted.
5. No vehicle may be on the lot for longer than ten days. It shall be the responsibility of the licensee to ensure that any vehicle not claimed by its owner is removed from the lot as permitted by law.
