Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Ramsey County for Right of Way acquisition on Ramsey County’s Jackson Street Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the County plans to reconstruct and add a multiuse trail on Jackson Street between Rose Avenue and Wheelock Parkway; and
WHEREAS, these improvements require right of way acquisition; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said acquisition is included in the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the agreement contains a mutual indemnification clause, which the Council finds reasonable and appropriate; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Ramsey County Agreement PUBW2025-11R, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
