Authorizing the Fire Department to pay for all costs incurred to host a graduation ceremony for firefighters on December 17, 2025 at the Minnesota History Center.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department is holding a formal graduation ceremony for the new firefighters on December 17, 2025 at the Minnesota History Center, and
WHEREAS, the ceremony recognizes the achievement of new firefighters and includes a reception where light refreshments are served; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of money for expenses and light refreshments serves a public purpose by celebrating the successful graduates; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds not to exceed $2,000 for the reception for the graduating firefighters.
