Second Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 1478 AMES AVENUE in Council File RLH SAO 26-32.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 26-32 on May 6, 2026 which granted an extension to May 8, 2026 to abate the nuisance conditions with the Vehicle Abatement Order and to June 1, 2026 for compliance with the Summary Abatement Order at 1478 Ames Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on May 12, 2026 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions with the May 8, 2026 deadline for the Vehicle Abatement Order [were / were not] abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is [abated and the matter resolved / not abated and therefore authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with this nuisance abatement].
