Amending the financing and spending plans in the Capital Projects fund of the Department of Public Works for transfer of appropriations funds in the amount of $749,539 to the 2018 Safe Routes to School Expo Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received federal funding for the 2018 Safe Routes to School Expo Project to fill in missing sidewalks around Expo Elementary, Cretin Derham Hall, the Holy Spirit School and Randolph Heights Elementary. The local match will be funded from the 2016 and 2017 Bike, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program; and
WHEREAS, $479,539 of federal funding was added into the 2018 Bike, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program for this project by Council Resolution RES PH 18-94; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to transfer $749,539 into the 2018 Safe Routes to School Expo Project; and
WHEREAS, there is $57,870 of available budget in the 2016 Bike, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program; and
WHEREAS, there is $212,130 of available budget in the 2017 Bike, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program; and
WHEREAS, there is $479,539 of available budget in the 2018 Bike, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation funds of $749,539; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $749,539 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
